In the eye of the artist it is when the painting transfers to a piece of Classical music.

In the eye of the beholder it is when the painting finds a tune in his or her soul.

In the eye of the art critic it is when the painting fits in time and space, the problem here is that artists often tend to work outside -just- time and space.

To me the keyword is precision! .
The piece of music is finished when it is complete.
